Pitched Roofs

A pitched roof — with its familiar angled slope — is the most common roofing style in the UK, and for good reason. Pitched roofs are naturally built to handle heavy rain and snow, channelling water away efficiently while providing excellent thermal performance and ventilation all year round.

We install and repair pitched roofs across Herefordshire and the surrounding area, covering a range of designs including:

Dual pitched (two slopes meeting at a ridge — the classic house roof)
Mono pitched (a single slope, often used on extensions and outbuildings)
Hipped, gabled and mansard styles

Because the choice of materials significantly affects durability, cost and installation time, we always carry out a free site visit before work begins. This lets us recommend the right solution for your property and budget, and make sure everything is specified correctly from the outset.

Pitched roof work includes: new roof installation, re-roofing, repairs, ridge and hip work, and general maintenance.

Flat Roofs

Flat roofing is a practical, cost-effective choice for extensions, garages, outbuildings and commercial buildings. Modern flat roof systems are far more durable and weather-resistant than older felt installations — and in the right setting, they can even become usable outdoor spaces such as roof terraces and gardens.

We install and repair flat roofs using two proven systems:

Traditional torch-on felt — our tried and tested 3-layer system, which delivers solid performance and long-term value. Applied in layers for a robust, watertight finish.

EPDM rubber roofing — a premium option with a life expectancy of up to 50 years. EPDM membranes are tough, flexible and easy to repair if ever damaged, using Quickseam SA flashing for quick, clean fixes.

We work on both domestic and commercial flat roofs, and our team is equally happy tackling a straightforward garage roof as a larger commercial installation.

Flat roof work includes: new flat roof installation, full replacement, repairs to leaking or damaged roofs, and routine maintenance.

Tile & Slate Roofing

The covering on your roof does more than keep the weather out — it defines how your property looks for decades to come. We work with both natural slate and clay or concrete tiles, and we’ll help you choose the right material based on your budget, your property’s character, and how long you want it to last.

Tiles offer a modern, flexible roofing solution with a wide range of colours, profiles and finishes to suit everything from new builds to period homes. They’re manufactured from natural earth minerals, making them fully recyclable, and their high thermal mass helps regulate indoor temperature — reducing heating costs over time. Tiles are resistant to rot, insect damage and the kind of deterioration that affects timber-based alternatives.

Natural slate is one of the oldest roofing materials in Britain, and remains one of the best. It’s lightweight relative to its durability, completely natural, and carries a distinctive character that suits older and traditional properties particularly well. Slate can be cut to a range of shapes and sizes, giving you flexibility in the roof’s final appearance.

Tile and slate work includes: new roof installation, re-tiling and re-slating, tile and slate repairs, replacing damaged or missing tiles, and ridge tile repointing and rebedding.
